We live in a time of
increased external stimulation as technology flourishes and our
world functions globally. We can feel more isolated and disconnected
from family and friends with our busy schedules. How do we stop and
create what we innately know we crave . . . connection and peace
within? We can learn to work with the natural rhythms of our body
through developing body consciousness.
|
Elizabeth’s
believes . . .
-
life
is lived in the present moment
-
body
awareness keeps us in the present moment
-
the
body is our true "home"
-
healing happens in the relaxed present
-
health is not something we acquire but a constant
balance in the present
-
stress can be positive and stimulate creativity but
the wrong kinds of stress can create illness and
body consciousness can help us recognize the
difference
-
we
learn not through reading self-help books but
through feeling our bodies connect to the earth by
gravity
